The Gresham lives up to the Four Seasons' reputation with probably the best English-speaking staff in Budapest. Elegance and romance have kept people at the Gresham since it was built in 1906. Its exclusive status evokes the last days of the Austro-Hungarian nobility. Yet the spa on the roof is equipped with the latest cardio machines, free weights, steam rooms, sauna, lap pool and incredible views. The rooms are spacious, superbly decorated, with all amenities, 24-hour room service, underground garage parking, and a superior location fronting the historic chain bridge. Superb cuisine is offered in the Pava Restaurant and the Gresham Kávéház; in addition there is the Bar and Lobby lounge, with evening piano, and Thursday, Friday and Saturday night jazz from 7 pm until around 11-12 pm. Afterwards you can stroll the shore of the Danube and the Belvaros district.
